FLC cycling is not long a club sport

FLC cycling is shedding its club sport status and becoming part of the athletic department of FLC. January 1 the college cycling program will become part of Fort Lewis College athletic department. Mitch Davis, FLC public affairs officer, announced the organizational change this week. “given the cycling team’s tremendous national success and the extensive commitment Fort Lewis College has made to the team, the decision was reached that it was more appropriate that the athletic department oversee the program,” The team is going to be unique with in the Fort Lewis athletic department because it is not under NCAA sports it is under USA Cycling. The major responsibility of the athletic department is to be overseeing the cycling budget and administration. The cycling team receives students-fee funding along with general funding. The FLC cycling team has won 11 national championships in the last decade and I believe that that this is going to just help the team so much.

Final Presentation

The final presentation for my mass communication was on YouTube.com. I believe that the final presentation was hard for me to think of a good idea and I was finally able to come up with YouTube. I come up with YouTube because I was thinking about something that we had used in class a lot and the first thing that came to my mind was YouTube. I though that this would be a good idea because I was think that almost everyone would be using YouTube in all of there presentation and I was right, if I am correct I have seen everyone use YouTube in there own presentation. In my research I had very fun time learning about YouTube and learning how fast they grow in such a short time. I wanted to do something different and not do a power point because I was thinking everyone was going to do a power point. Looking back on it I wish that I had done a power point because it would have made it a lot easier for me to organize the presentation. The power point would have helped me make sure that I would not forget any of the information that I wanted to present to the class. I feel like there is a lot that I miss and want to present in my presentation. That project was a very good one for me to do and I believe for the rest of the class. It was a fun one to do and I have learned a lot from everyone presentation.
