Six dead in South Korea.

In SEOUL, South Korea a man went on an arson and stabbing rampage causing six people to die and seven more seriously injured. The suspects name is Jeohg, a 31 year old man, who first set fire to his room which was in a low cost housing unit then proceed to stab fellow residents with a sashimi knife while he was trying to escape the blaze. Five people were stabbed to death and another died after jumping out of a window to escape the blaze. Jeohg was arrested on the scene and said that he did not want to live anymore because everyone looks down upon him. Jeohg has been jobless since last April and has not been able to pay his housing and mobile phone bill for awhile now. Jeong has been convicted of crimes eight times in the past.

This is so weird because in my global perspectives education class we are giving presentations on certain countries and someone gave a presentation on South Korea today. He talked about that city and also talked about the suicide rates in South Korea. That's a sad story that the suicide rate is that high and that people like this try to hurt themselves and end up hurting and killing others as well.

It's really depressing how the suicide rate in South Korea is increasing. There is a large number of people living in poverty there but killing themselves and others should never be the answer. Maybe they could use a better education system over there that would help with educating people about how to get jobs etc...then the number of adults who are jobless could actually start making money. Therefore there would not be as much stress and suicide going on.
