Today was the first time that I have ever voted as I am 20 years old. I voted at Needham Elementary School and the experience was very easy to do and did not take that long to complete at all. One of the harder thing to do in voting was the amendments because the wording is very hard to understand at lest for me. I had a cheat sheet that I took to the voting place to help me with everything. The cheat sheet made it a lot easy to fallow everything. The people where very helpfully and made everything run very smoothly. I then went to Starbucks to get my free coffee with my “I voted” sticker on. I am looking forwards to watching the end result on T.V. tonight.

You got free coffee at Starbucks? I went to Starbucks in Farmington and they told me that they weren't honoring the free coffee for voting. But I didn't vote just for free coffee. I voted because that's how we as regular citizens exercise our voice. We use our vote to tell elected officials that we agree with them by re-electing them or that we don't like the job they're doing so we vote for someone else. Keep voting!
I saw on facebook the advertisements for free coffee from Starbucks and free scoop of Ben and Jerry's. I wish I liked coffee a little more and I would have gone to get one as well. I didn't go to the booths though, I did the mail in ballot. I totally agree that some of the ammendments are hard to understand. I had one of those bluebooks that help explain all the issues. It was very helpful.
Even if you didn't vote I would have given you free coffee
